A new timetable for the line is in operation from 9th December 2007 to 17th May 2008. Mini timetables specifically for passengers using this line can be found at Wrexham General Station and Gobowen and copies will also be available from Tourist Information Centres. Christmas Coffee morning
On December the 14th the Partnership and the Friends of Gobowen Station will be holding a Christmas coffee morning at the station. A similar event held last May was a great success and is being repeated by customer demand! All proceeds from the day will be donated to the David J Lloyd Memorial Fund.
ACoRP conference in Llandudno
The conference on Tourism and Rural Railways held last month was a great success and delegates from all around Great Britain attended.
The keynote speaker Deputy First Minister Ieuan Wyn Jones also took the opportunity to launch the Scenic Wales by Rail web site www.scenicwales.co.uk which is the promotional brand for the joint working of all the Wales & Borders Community Rail Officers.
