At RUABON Station a bus/rail link is available for onward journeys to Llangollen and for access to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct a World Heritage site.  The bus service is frequent, approximately every 15 minutes during the day. Full details are shown at the bus stops with their digital displays.

Llangollen is popular with visitors all year round and has numerous attractions. From a walk along the riverside to a canal boat ride or a trip on the Llangollen railway there is something for all here

 
About Ruabon Station

This rural station is at the top of Station Road a few minutes walk from the centre of Ruabon. Trains leave here for Wrexham, Chester, Holyhead and for Shrewsbury, Birmingham, Cardiff with connections for London at Chester and Birmingham.

The station is unstaffed but passenger information is relayed via a PA system and customer information screens.

A new bus/rail interchange operates with buses visiting the station every 15 minutes approx. Tel 01978 266166 for details.

Please note, there is NO disabled access to the Chester platform
