Shrewsbury - The station is close to the busy town centre with its winding streets, historic half timbered buildings and its shops, galleries and riverside park and famous floral decorations. Each August the Shrewsbury Flower show is held at the Quarry showground – much more than a flower show this is must to visit and travelling by train gives you the opportunity to purchase a reduced entrance ticket on the train.
