WREXHAM is the major centre for shopping and commerce in North Wales.
It has grown from a small market town into a modern, vibrant centre with aspirations for university city status.
Since 1999 more than £150 million of development has brought a transformation to the town, with two new shopping centres, complemented by broad pedestrianised shopping areas.
The Station is in Regent Street near the football ground, a few minutes walk from the town centre. Trains leave for Chester to the north and for Shrewsbury and Birmingham to the south. The station also links with the Borderlands line, which goes to Bidston and on to Liverpool. This is a staffed station and service information can be obtained from the booking office.
